A small archival site for the Rode and Fiere family reunion. It holds three things: the history of the reunion itself, the history of our common ancestor Pierre Rode, and the journals of A. Delphin from the mid-19th century, translated from the French.
The problem
Family history lives in boxes, in one person’s filing cabinet, in a language most of the descendants don’t read. None of that survives a move or a death. The reunion needed one durable, public place for the material — readable by relatives who don’t have the French, and stable enough to still be there in twenty years.
